Satin Finish on Stainless Steel through Blasting: As quality is becoming a part of branding, some of our customers require quality finish on their product. MECShot specialize in surface finishing. It has developed a special machine for achieving satin finish on Stainless Steel Jobs. Steel gains satin finish when blasted through Glass Bead media.


MECShot has developed air operated blasting machine for removing the defects on the edges of the stainless steel flat. The defects generated during hot rolling on the edges of Stainless Steels Flats are removed by Abrasive Blasting Process. The generated defect develops on final product during reduction in stainless steel sheet.



In present industrial scenario, where chemical cleaning / acid cleaning has been prohibited under the pollution control norms. The Abrasive Blasting Process has replaced it and has also been accepted by pollution control internationally. The Stainless Steel fabricated structures parts or components for AERO, AUTO and AGRICULTURE Industries are being blast cleaned by Glass Bead. MECShot has introduced this low pressure glass beads blasting machines. To remove weld heat scales, burrs, oxide layer and scribe or scratch markings and thus achieve glossy satin / matte finish.
