(The Robotic shot peening machine For Gas Turbine Blades)
The robotic automatic shot peening system for peening of precision gas turbine engine components like discs etc. Shot classifier is suitable for separating usable shots from a charge of used shots containing round shots as well as broken shot to achieve uniform shot peening intensity & finish.


The job are loaded on the indexing turn table manually and brought in the reach of the robot and clamped. Blast nozzle / rotary lance is mounted on robotic arm. The nozzle fires the abrasive on the components for penning finished homogeneously all around.

The shots used and dust created during peening is sucked and fed to the reclaimer. Through shot classifier shots are classified & fed to the continuous blast generators through deflector valve and storage hopper. Very fine dust sucked through re-claimer is separated and deposited in cartridge type dust collector.

All filter elements are automatically cleaned with the aid of timer activated and through which solenoid valve activated & certain volume of air blown in to the cartridges and thus keeping eco friendly. The dust particles get trapped in filter elements in dust collector & the clean air escapes in the atmosphere.
