PORTABLE ABRASIVE BLASTER


The abrasive blasting as a finishing process has been successfully utilized on metal, glass, and ceramics, plastic and stone. Its functions include Deburring, descaling, peening, polishing, stress relieving, Deflashing and cleaning.

Portable abrasive blaster pressure feeds the system of abrasive propelling and results in higher production rates. The pressure vessels are tested to 250 psig and coded. Blast nozzles special design and tungsten carbides lined, result in long service life. It is equipped with high static and low weight blast hose. The remote control ON / OFF is in operators' hand and requires no electric connection.

Model P7 - 150
An economic model recommended for small and accessory work such as repairing and maintenance. The abrasive tank can hold up to 42 litres. The tungsten carbide nozzle is of 5 mm, the blast hose of 19 mm with length 5 meters. Its cleaning rate is 3- 4 sq. meters.

Model P7-301R
A medium capacity model recommended for jobs like fabricated parts, castings, stones, glass etc. The abrasive tank can hold up to 85 litres and the tungsten carbide nozzle is of 6 mm, the blast hose 19 mm with length 5 meters. Its cleaning rate is 5 – 9 sq. meters.

Model P7-501RA
commercial blaster for moderate to heavy blast cleaning on structures, pipes etc. The abrasive tank can hold up to 142 litres. Tungsten carbide nozzle measures 8 mm and the blast hose 25 mm with length 7.5 meters. Its cleaning rate is 11-15 sq. meters.

Model P-1001R
A high capacity model recommended for higher output on jobs like vessels, structures, pipes etc. The abrasive tank can hold up to 284 litres. Tungsten carbide nozzle measures 10 mm and the blast hose 32 mm with length 10 meters. Its cleaning rate is 15-19 meters.

P7-2001 RSPL
A double chambered continuous working model with a dual outlet is recommended for continuous blasting and very high productivity. The abrasive tank can hold up to 255 litres. Tungsten carbide nozzle measures 10 mm and the blast hose 32 mm with length 10 meters. Its cleaning rate is 15-19 sq. meters.

Contractor Series
A single chambered working model recommended for very high productivity by blasting. The abrasive tank is made as per customer requirements. Tungsten carbide nozzle measures 10 mm and the blast hose 32 mm with length 10 meters. Its cleaning rate is 15-19 sq. meters. It has the pressure feed system of abrasive propelling which results in higher production rates. Pressure vessels are tested to 250 psig. The blast nozzle's special design and tungsten carbide lined, result in long service life. It is equipped with high static and low weight blast hose. The remote control ON / OFF is at the operator's hand and requires no electric connection. It is easy to handle and tow.

Key Features

  1. Automatic Filling Valve: The machine is provided with an automatic mushroom valve (filling valve) for quick refilling of abrasive.
  2. T. C. Lined Long Venturi Nozzle: The long series convergent-divergent tungsten carbide lined blasting nozzles ensures high velocity, evenly distributed blast patterns and higher blasting output. It provides lower wear, longer life and greater resistance against breakage.
  3. Blast Hose: The Blast Hose is highly abrasion resistant with a longer life, high flexibility, lower bend radius, is light weight and electrically antistatic for safe operation.
  4. Abrasive Control Valve: The machine is fitted with a pinch valve which has a hand wheel to control the abrasive flow through a blast nozzle.
  5. Abrasive Sieving: A wire screen is fitted with a pneumatic vibrator to sieve abrasive and avoid blast line choking.
  6. Abrasive Tank Construction: An abrasive tank is fabricated from tested quality steel plate in accordance with IS-2825 and hydraulically tested at 250 Psi.
  7. Automatic Exhaust Valve: It vents air and thereby the machine is depressurized instantly. The valve opens automatically with stoppage of air supply to the machine and vice-versa.
  8. Air Filter and Pressure Gauge: An online air filter and pressure gauge is provided.
  9. Ball Valve: The machine is fitted with ball valve, having stainless steel balls (an anti corrosive material) to ensure full air flow without pressure loss.

Internal Pipe Cleaning Tool
The internal pipe cleaning tools can clean the inside surface of pipes of 51 mm to 914 mm inside diameters and up to 12000 mm long. It cleans completely around 360 degree interiors of pipe. It removes stubborn rust, carbon, old paint etc. The internal pipe cleaning tool operates with any high capacity pressure blasting machine such as P7-501, P7-1001.

Remote Control System
It places complete ON / OFF control of the machine in the hands of the operator at blast nozzle. It saves abrasive consumption when operator changes position or performs spot blasting and provides added safety to operator and other personnel in the area. Machines fitted with remote control system are designed with "R" such as P7-301R, P7-1001R and so on.

Wet Head
Wet Head is recommended for economical wet, dustless, blast-cleaning with P 7 type blast machines in jobs such as cleaning structures of stones, brick, concrete etc. Wet blast nozzle is attached to the abrasive blast nozzle to provide wetting of dry air-abrasive streams prior to its forceful discharge from the nozzle opening. It also serves to wash off finished surfaces with a clean pressurized air-water stream after shutting off the abrasive supply.
