Mec Shot Model SB-SP-4 operates on the suction principle of abrasive blasting. The vacuum created by the compressed air issuing out of an injector lifts the abrasive from storage tank to the nozzle in the blast guns. The lifted abrasive gets mixed with the compressed air in the blast guns to strike the job to be cleaned.

The operator places the job on satellite. The indexing turntable carried it into blast chamber where satellite starts rotating at blast station. As job rotates, blast guns cleans the job completely for blast cleaning on another side the job is reversed & placed on the satellite. After cleaning, the job is air washed before being lifted by the operator.

Frequently asked questions

Answers about this machine, installation, and support.

The SUPER BLASTER (SB) is a suction-type abrasive blasting cabinet that works on the Induction-Suction principle. It is designed for continuous surface cleaning, deburring, matte finishing, and light shot peening applications.

The machine is widely used in heat treatment shops, tool rooms, die and mould manufacturing, fabrication units, automotive, aerospace, engineering workshops, and metal finishing industries.

The SUPER BLASTER is suitable for steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, cast iron, and other metal components, especially light and medium-sized parts requiring cleaning or surface preparation.

The integrated abrasive reclaimer automatically separates dust, debris, and broken abrasive particles, ensuring that only clean and properly sized abrasives are reused for consistent surface finishing.

It can efficiently perform rust removal, paint removal, scale cleaning, deburring, surface preparation before coating, and fine matte finishing with uniform results.

The SUPER BLASTER is available in SB-6060, SB-9182, and SB-12090, offering different working chamber sizes to suit various component dimensions and production requirements.

Yes. Optional accessories include rubber-lined cabinet walls, reverse-jet cartridge filter dust collector, higher-output blast gun, foot-operated treadle switch, and other customized configurations.

The machine uses an Induction-Suction abrasive feeding system, which provides smooth, continuous blasting without interruptions while minimizing abrasive consumption.

Yes. Its ergonomic cabinet design, viewing window, glove ports, and automatic abrasive recovery system make it easy to operate, maintain, and clean, reducing downtime.

Unlike many standard blasting cabinets, the SUPER BLASTER comes with a built-in abrasive reclaimer that delivers consistent blasting quality, reduced abrasive waste, lower operating costs, and improved productivity.
